The O’Brien Lab is thrilled to welcome new post-doc Charlie Lang to the Lab. He earned his PhD in Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology from the University of Chicago in 2022. In his thesis work, he used a combination of live-cell single-molecule imaging and mathematical modeling to study cell polarity in the C.elegans zygote. In the O’Brien lab his work will focus on feedback control of Erk signaling and stem cell division in the fly gut.
