Emile Magny joins the O’Brien Lab

Welcome, Emile!

Emile Magny joins the O’Brien Lab as a staff scientist. He obtained is PhD in Biology from the University of Sussex, UK, in 2014. In his thesis, and during his career, using Drosophila as a model organism, his research has focused on demonstrating that genes lacking annotated coding sequences (due to their very short sizes), can actually code for small peptides with important biological functions.
